Coconut oil can be a wonderful healthy fat to add to your diet. However, it may not be right for everyone. For example, those wanting to lower their LDL, may want to limit their intake as their are many conflicting studies on how it affects your total cholesterol. Also, coconut oil is high in calories, so you may want to watch the amount you consume. I use coconut oil for most of my baking. It adds a great flavor to just about anything.
